Prayers

Praying is one of the pillars of Islam. The order for praying didn’t come down to earth through the angel Jibreel (Gabriel).

During his journey through the heavens, the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, received the commandment to pray 5 times a day directly from Allah (God). This shows the importance of the prayers. Praying is the main purpose of a Mosque.

Establishing prayers at the Islamic Center has been and will always be our first priority.

At the Islamic Center of Naples the five (5) daily prayers are held in congregation at the Iqama time, published on our website.

Jummah prayer is also held at the Islamic Center of Naples at 13:30 every Friday.

Ramadan is an opportunity to seek forgiveness and blessing from Allah. It is a month for nourishing our souls and uplifting our beliefs. At the Islamic Centers of Naples Tarawih prayers are held during the holy month of Ramadan.
